I made a project template with 4 midi tracks and 4 audio tracks. And inserted Vocaloid 2 Prima RealTime as my soft synth for Midi Track 1. Then saved the project along with the Vocaloid 2 plug in settings. I was wondering if any forum members had used Acid Music Studio 8. With Vocaloid or Vocaloid 2 software singers. I have to watch the video tutorials this week. I drew a midi clip window on my first midi track and saved that. But I do not even know yet how to load a midi loop or midi file into an Acid Track or Tracks. I got AMS8 for Xmas and have just been listening to project demos and the clips and loops. Create a Blank Midi Track 2. Draw a blank Midi Clip Window on Your Track. 3 Draw, Paint or Record a few long notes into your midi clip. 4. Insert Vocaloid 2 RealTime as your Track Soft Synth. 5. If Vocaloid 2 Setting Box does not pop up. Call up the Soft Synth Properities Window. 5. Setup your Vocaloid Prima Settings. 6. They in a few words into Vocaloid Primas Lyric Window. 7. Push the Convert to Sung Notes Button. 8. Check your Midi Tracks Output and Set It Vocaloid 2 Prima. 9. Put your Acid Midi Clip into Loop Play. 10. Hit the Vocaloid Prima Lyric Window Play button. 11. If no singing, hit Transform and then Play again. 12. Once Prima is singing, save everything as a Acid Prima Template or Project Setup File. 13. Prima can sing 4 part harmony on one track so have fun. 14. Sony Acid Studio 8.0 comes with all those hundreds of wonderful midi project clips you can test Prima out with.
