Wow, a lot of bugs must have been fixed -the update is a hefty 24.2MB! This isn't a big deal with my cable modem, although I feel sorry for people with dial up.

Maybe the next version of VF will warrant a public beta.

Then again, I'm just glad that Sonic Foundry fixes bugs unlike some other companies who shall remain nameless.

Thanks Dave, and others. Tried it out on 2 projects I've been sitting on and it worked great. Put in 2 60Gig HD's couple months ago and was thinking of going to Windows 2000 to get by the 4gig limit but now I'm glad I waited. Congratulations and Thank You. Bill

Is this a free update to purchasers of VF 1.0? I downloaded the update, but when I tried launching it, it asked for my serial number. When I entered my VF 1.0 serial number, the application said that it was invalid.

No, it's not a free upgrade. But it's only $29.95 to upgrade from VF 1.0
