Is it possible to use ACID PRO 7 as a plugin (to another host)? I'm guessing "no" but I'd figure I'd ask anyway since some of the other more popular music creation tools allows for this. Thanks! |

Sure but it would have to be done via ReWire; ACID Pro 7 would be the ReWire slave. ACID Pro's in-application help details how to set up ACID Pro as a slave in other popular apps. Just look for "rewire". HTH, Iacobus |

Ahhh... didn't think about that. Unfortunately, I don't think MASCHINE supports Rewire; I'll need to double check. Thanks!! Message last edited on4/21/2011 6:33:59 AM byStephenM. |

From what I could glean, MASCHINE itself can be used as a VST plug-in within ACID. |

Yeah, I can use MASCHINE as a VST plugin in ACID, but I've been dealing with crashes in v1.6 (MASCHINE). What I was wanting to do was use ACID as a plugin in MASCHINE since ACID is 100x better with arrangements and MASCHINE is 100x with sample based music production. |

Is MASCHINE crashing in ACID Pro? (Good luck in getting support from NI if you tried contacting them, btw. I'm about ready to send them an angry letter myself.) |
