Subject:Extracting left or right channel to a stereofile in Batch

I have a number of .wav files where I have recorded a mono signal on the left channel and another mono signal on the right channel. Now I want to separate the mono signal to separate mono.wav file. I know I can do this manually by opening one file at a time, select left channel, copy to a new mono file, save that file, select right channel, copy to a new file, save that file... That is tedious... Is there a way where I can do this automatically? |

You could save the stereo tracks mixed to one mono file by using the Batch Converter, but you cannot save the left channel and right channel as separate files this way. You would have to continue using the copy/paste method. Ted |

Cakewalk will do it but you would have to load each file as an audio track first. This could be as tedious as manually splitting them in SF. |
