Eliminating Unwanted Background Noise? -ACID Product Family

Subject:Eliminating Unwanted Background Noise? Posted by: KevinM Date:8/27/2001 6:47:13 PM Can you tell me ways to eliminate unwanted noise from my ACID 2.0 Techno (Style) audio recordings? I have tried upgrading to a USB type PC microphone, changing input volume recording levels, and moving the microphone away from the PC. These did not eliminate the noise I'm getting on all my voice recordings.

There's a lot more in the whole chain of events going from your voice into the PC. You have to ask yourself: "Is the set-up that I have prior to the PC (microphone/sound card/mixer) causing the problem?" As far as from within the PC, what you can use, if you have a program that supports directx plug-ins, such as: Sound Forge 5.0, Vegas or Acid Pro, you could use our DirectX plug-in Noise Reduction 2.0.
