Please fill out your system specs in your user profile.

What audio hardware are you using.?
Are you using ASIO, mapper, or wave classic drivers in ACID?

What version of ACID are you using?

Got my specs up. I am running thru a Line 6 pocket Pod to microphone input.ACID PRO 8. Intel Celeron 410@1.46GHz , 199 GB RAM Conextant High Definition Audio-Venice 5045 soundcard.
All audio settings are defaulted except i switched bitmapping to oneshot recording per tech support and problem still persists. I have also shutdown all unnessasary processes on my computer, switch between mapping and classic, adjusting latency and buffering. The problem persists recording guitar alone, guitar along with a drum loop, nothing plugged to input at all.

HELP!!!

The Line 6 pocket pod has it's output connected to your PC's input, correct?

The problem you are encountering is caused by your on board audio.

To assure accurate sync between input and output, you should use ASIO drivers. It is unlikely your built in audio has ASIO drivers. You may want to try using ASIOForAll, which is a freeware ASIO wrapper for nonASIO hardware.

The other alternative is to get an audio device that supplies ASIO drivers.

I downloaded ASIOForAll and enabled that . It is still doing it but not as bad. Everything else defaulted except for one shot
