Subject:acid 6.0 overdub problem

i recorded a song through my dj mixer into acid..then went back to record a second track (acapella) over it...when i did this it is recording the first track again aswell but off slightly like an echo...now i have my mixer running through one set of speakers and my cpu running out of another so its not looping around and its still doing this..what am i doing wrong??thanx

When you record, do you have the specific input set for recording on that specific track?
