Subject:Can't get Garritan Aria into Acid Pro 7

I recently had to reinstal AP7 in my new Windows 7 system. I installed Aria and its updates, and did a scan in Plug-in Manager, but the following entries now appear in the "Failed" folder:
aria_x64
libsnfile_x64

Any ideas how to fix?

Those look like the 64-bit versions (thus _x64) - Acid is a 32-bit app and can't use 64-bit plugins.

Did you have a choice of installers? See if one says x86, or win32, or the like. I have GPO4 running fine with AP7.

Running Personal Orchestra 4 and Steinway just fine in Pro 7 as well.

As Zombie said, those are the 64-bit versions. ACID Pro doesn't do 64-bit yet. The 32-bit versions of the the ARIA instruments should work just fine though. (They should have installed along with the 64-bit versions.)

Thanks Guys - that was it. The first installation defaulted to "Program Files" instead of "Program Files (x86)" Now reinstalled and working, thanks.
