It's pretty obvious that the criteria to be inducted is a bit "flawed" shall we say... The fact that acts like "Run-D.M.C." and "Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five" were inducted at all, and before Rock & Roll pioneers like Dr. John, Waits, Love, Cooper, Diamond, Russel discredits the institution IMHO. ('nuf said)

Did you notice that Love had one of main songs on the soundtrack for the movie Taking Woodstock? Arthur Lee and Love were invited to Woodstock, but declined.
Well said Johnny. By the time that they've finally recognised these guys, they've already trivialised the "honour" by admitting some insignificant performers before them.
I've been a great Leon fan since the late '60s - saw him in London in '72 and in Adelaide in '73.
This guy has been in the engine room of rock 'n roll for so long, and his piano style has been copied by so many.
