Why is the sound not there?

Hi,

I was rendering my video using the Mainconcept MPEG-2 templet with vegas pro 10, so that i could make a DVD using DVD archictect pro 5.2, suprisingly after rendering my video, the DVD archictect pro 5.2 gave me a problem with the sound, it compressed the sound to the point there was no sound when playing the DVD.

i thought Mainconcept MPEG-2 was going to render the sound of my video so that DVD archictect pro 5.2 could make the DVD without compressing the sound.

is there a way to render my video in a way that will make DVD archictet pro 5.2 not compress my sound?

Thanks musicvid, from what i read i have to render the video and the sound separately, after rendering them separately do I have to put them together and render them again or like i understood i have to import them into DVD architect separately?

Yes, render them separately - if you save each with the same name in the same folder, they will be automatically 'married' when you drag the vision into DVDA.
