Hi guys - was wondering if you could help me. I've been a long time user (since SF5 and Vegas3) with no major problems. However, i hit a frustrating snag with Acid 7.0e. I have this mix i am doing - just laying wav files on loops, and using the beatmapper to match the loops. i do have to occasionally use the tempo change. In this project, i had to change the project tempo from 83 bpm to 90 bpm so i did insert the change markers. acid started crashing whenever i hit play. so the final time i reopened the file, i did my changes and hit save before i hit play, it still crashes. i reopened, moved the 90 bpm marker one measure to the left, hit save and played, it started playing and i was happy and was able to do more edits and stuff. later on i had to change the project tempo from 90 to 95 bpm. Now Acid crashes everytime i hit play and no amount of moving markers or anything seems to cure it (although opening previous projects play flawlessly). Here is the error information: ACID Pro 7.0 Version 7.0e (Build 713) Exception 0xC0000094 (integer divide by zero) IP:0x006F2506 In Module 'acid70.exe' at Address 0x00400000 + 0x002F2506 Thread: TrackRender ID=0x1950 Stack=0x0C39F000-0x0C3A0000 Registers: EAX=00000000 CS=0023 EIP=006f2506 EFLGS=00010202 EBX=00000000 SS=002b ESP=0c39f95c EBP=00000192 ECX=042c2938 DS=002b ESI=00000629 FS=0053 EDX=00000000 ES=002b EDI=042c2898 GS=002b Bytes at CS:EIP: 006F2506: F7 FB 8B 54 24 10 85 D2 ...T.. 006F250E: 89 44 24 2C DB 44 24 2C .D,.D, Stack Dump: 0C39F95C: 0C39FA88 0C2A0000 + FFA88 0C39F960: 12BCB2C0 12630000 + 59B2C0 0C39F964: 00000000 0C39F968: 00000003 0C39F96C: 00006000 0C39F970: 006F2391 00400000 + 2F2391 (acid70.exe) 0C39F974: 00000024 0C39F978: 042C2938 042C0000 + 2938 0C39F97C: 00000004 0C39F980: 00000620 0C39F984: 006F3271 00400000 + 2F3271 (acid70.exe) 0C39F988: 00000192 0C39F98C: 00000001 0C39F990: 00000000 0C39F994: 00000000 0C39F998: 00000002 > 0C39F99C: 1B0C666B 1B040000 + 8666B (sfppack3.dll) > 0C39F9F0: 1B042B9A 1B040000 + 2B9A (sfppack3.dll) > 0C39FB34: 1B04250F 1B040000 + 250F (sfppack3.dll) > 0C39FB3C: 1B04252A 1B040000 + 252A (sfppack3.dll) > 0C39FB50: 1B042961 1B040000 + 2961 (sfppack3.dll) > 0C39FB5C: 0003D090 00030000 + D090 (ErrorReport.dll) 0C39FB60: 12643D48 12630000 + 13D48 0C39FB64: 3397DEC0 33960000 + 1DEC0 > 0C39FB68: 311E2428 31060000 + 182428 (acid70k.dll) 0C39FB6C: 12643D48 12630000 + 13D48 > 0C39FB9C: 311E2543 31060000 + 182543 (acid70k.dll) > 0C39FBB4: 15DE5BE4 15DB0000 + 35BE4 (iZOzone4DXHook.dll) > 0C39FBC0: 15DD809E 15DB0000 + 2809E (iZOzone4DXHook.dll) > 0C39FBF4: 15DDAAA6 15DB0000 + 2AAA6 (iZOzone4DXHook.dll) > 0C39FC10: 15DDBD01 15DB0000 + 2BD01 (iZOzone4DXHook.dll) > 0C39FC40: 15DEBD52 15DB0000 + 3BD52 (iZOzone4DXHook.dll) > 0C39FC48: 0003D090 00030000 + D090 (ErrorReport.dll) 0C39FC4C: 214BA9C8 21400000 + BA9C8 0C39FC50: 12FB1018 12630000 + 981018 0C39FC54: 00000000 0C39FC58: 0C39FF78 0C2A0000 + FFF78 > 0C39FC5C: 15E7C298 15DB0000 + CC298 (iZOzone4DXHook.dll) > 0C39FC64: 311E2428 31060000 + 182428 (acid70k.dll) > 0C39FC98: 310DF185 31060000 + 7F185 (acid70k.dll) > 0C39FCB4: 310E1910 31060000 + 81910 (acid70k.dll) > 0C39FCCC: 0003D090 00030000 + D090 (ErrorReport.dll) 0C39FCD0: 00000000 0C39FCD4: 00000000 0C39FCD8: 7D044A0F 0C39FCDC: 00000005 > 0C39FD00: 06BE775E 06870000 + 37775E (dsp_ipp.dll) - - - 0C39FFF0: 00000000 0C39FFF4: 00521700 00400000 + 121700 (acid70.exe) 0C39FFF8: 060B5498 05ED0000 + 1E5498 0C39FFFC: 00000000 Thanks for any help guys. I see references to iZotope's Ozone and maybe one of the XFX plug-ins. Out of curiosity, if you removed them, does it still crash? Iacobus |

Hi mD. Thanks for the interest. I went through all tracks (including the bus and master) and removed any fx including Ozone - crashed once i hit play. I also tried increasing the time buffer to 1 second in the preferences, it manages to play from the start up to around the time the tempo changes are marked. I can open the file and go into individual tracks and change the beatmapper markers and listen to the file while in the beatmapper window but once i go out of that and hit play on the actual acid main interface, it crashes. not sure if it would render but i can't render if i can't even listen and adjust my settings. :( cef |

There are a couple other mysterious DLLs in there too, like "dsp_ipp.dll". I have no idea what that is. Do a virus scan and/or spyware check? There's also the possibility something might have been corrupted if this error keeps cropping up every time you go to playback. |

I did a system scan (Norton) and didn't find anything. This problem i am having is with my viao laptop. I saved everything to a removable drive and loaded the project into my desktop. The crash happened only twice on the desktop and i was able to finish the project on it. But i want the convenience of the laptop being able to take it anywhere so the issue (with this project) is still unresolved. hopefully it doesn't happen on my next project. No idea on what the dsp_ipp.dll is. Thanks. |
