I am using Sound Forge 5.0b and recording into the analog inputs of my Echo MIA sound card. During playback I hear a few random pops and clicks. I set my total buffer size to 1,536 kb. I have 128 mb ram. What else can I do? |

Hello - I'm "grasping at straws" here as you didn't say what the material was you are recording. If it came from old phonograph records it is probably clicks, pops and noise from the surface of the old records. In that case, SF's vinyl noise removal, click removal and noise removal plugins can reduce that kind of racket considerably. If this is not your situation then perhaps someone else has suggestions. |

I had the same problem with SCSI disks; when I switched back to ATA100 disks the problem went away. |
