Hi, when I try to save a wav file in "gsm6.10", noise is being produced at the end of a file. And when I mute, delete or treat that noise in any other way, it always comes back after saving file. Any ideas anybody? I use SF 10 and xp. thanxX klabue |

The solution is to make sure that you have unticked the "Ignore fact chunk when opening compressed WAV files" box in Preferences|General. You can find the explanation in the Knowledgebase. Mark |

Hi Mark, thank you for the info, but unticking "ignore fact chunk.." didn´t work here. Same noise is produced at the end of a file. Is there any other possibility? Fading, muting, reducing volume etc. at the end of a file does not work in SF 9. In SF 10, when trying to save in "gsm6.10", I sometimes get an error message saying that there is a problem with a codec. Any help appreciated. thank you. klabue |
