Cui Bonosoft EDL Convert

OT but...
I recently had to reformat my OS drive, but no longer have the Cui Bonosoft EDL Convert installation files (specifically Ver. 4.2 but I think 4.1 or 4.3 would work. Does anyone have these, or can point me towards them. I have the registration code #.
Can any of my SCS forum friends help me out?

Thanks, Rick

PS- The SSL version is over my budget right now.

I've got a dongle version--- would your number work with that?

and, yeah, screw SSL for buying the product and then jacking up the price three fold!

I don't think so....

I just found the older version V4.2.313 (which I think is last version before iSD version) installer still on an old PC -

File sent: ECv42313.zip
File will be stored for: 14 days
Link to file: https://download.yousendit.com/eUREMWZKMHdxRTFjR0E9PQ

rraud, I hope you are still using same HDD as last authorization, otherwise passcodes will not work......

Thanks anyway Christo,
I'll try it,

Addendum: Since I can no longer get a new unlock code from Cui Bonosoft (or SSL for that matter) looks like I'm f_c_k_d.

FWIW, It is a new OS drive, I can access files from the old drive though, just can't boot from it. The old drive: (Stop error, BSOD) I've tried everything to repair it, boots in safe mode, so I tried a system restore, NG, and ran the XP's recovery console, also NG.

I'm currently trying out AA Translator. They are very support friendly and the product seems to be working well so far.

this looks awesome! GUI isn't as nice and clean as EDL Convert... but still looks great!

And only $159 for the full version. What does SSL charge now?

I do not know exactly, but when SSL acquired CuiBonoSoft, the "upgrade" to EDL v.5 was around $700. I used Sonar on a project when I could not get the pre SSL version to open, when 'Christo' so kindly offered.
Looks like I'l try AA Translator. I don't care about the GUI as long as it extracts the files and the EDL is at least timeline accurate.
Vegas should support OMF files seen to be the preferred transfer format. (at least here in NYC... but what do we know) I could never get AAF to work properly with Avid files, and FCP does not support AAF,at least w/o Automatic Duck.. but that will not work with Vegas either. In my experience AAF only works Vegas to Vegas, but whats the point? Supposedly AAF from PTs will import though.

I've had no probs AAF to/from PT (but V8 was last time I tried...).
