Subject:Applying FX to entire project

Greetings All, What is the best way to apply a plug-in such as Wave Hammer to my entire project? I’ve tried several approaches including inserting Wave Hammer on the master bus. Doing it this way, I can hear the changes when I play back the original project, but not when I render to a wave file or anything like that. I'm using Music Studio 8. Thanks.
