Where can I get the plugin to convert wav files to mp3 with sound forge?

The plug-in is included with all versions of Forge, starting at 4.5d. You'll need to update to the latest 4.5 (which was "h"), if you want this functionality. If you're using Sound Forge 4.0/XP4.0, you won't be able to save or open mp3 files at all, and you might consider upgrading to Sound Forge 5.0/Sound Forge XP Studio 5.0.

I am currently using SF 5.0 - I was able to convert wav files to mp3, but now it says my 20 conversion trial is up, and doens't say how to aquire the plugin. Do you know where I can find that plugin?

register the plugin and youll get it back. it's an option in the menue as your just about to do a save.
If you do this it will work forever more
