Indeed nice find geoff!

Although Hit'n Mix is a stand-alone application (can't load this as a VST or even ReWire it) and does not have any MIDI support....yet....., I'm sure it will impact Melodyne sales.

Cheers

In addition,

'wouldn't it be cool if the great powers at Sony Creative got a lease on Neuratron technology (the makers of Hit'n Mix and AudioScore) and incorporate those same algorithms in a future version of ACID Pro.
Since Neurotron isn't after the pro MI market (I don't think), I'm sure both companies could come to some understanding that would make it feasible for Sony to acquire.
Melodyne will never really run on ACID and adding this kind of feature to ACID Pro makes more sense than spending valuable development time turning ACID into just another DAW....

'Just my two sense, but what the hell do I know
Cheers

Wow, that was really cool and they actually showed him using ACID and Sound Forge in the videos... That should be a highlight in the monthly Sony newsletter. lol

I especially liked the reason he gave for using ACID: There's no super-duper graphics GUI that gets in your face. I wish other vendors would rent a clue in this department. I don't want unicorns farting bubblegum-scented bubbles flying across my screen either.

(Though, to be honest, that Hit'n'Mix software they highlight is actually guilty of this. Maybe if they just got basic with it, it wouldn't be crash-happy.) lol
