I also realize you can split the events to throw a single crash in there, but is there another way ? Thanks.

When you are working with loops, any edit you make to the loop will appear in all instances of the loops.

The simplest way to avoid this is to add a second track routed to then same synth. You add any crashes or other percussion to this new track.

Thanks Peter.Im still having the same problem so gonna try your way.I have a funny feeling I might have to reinstall the kit core that came with it because it's doing some funky things. Thanks and much appreciated. Marc

I doubt it is Kit Core.

You have to understand how ACID works with media. Unless the clip is not a loop, as you paint it out, you will be telling ACID to play the same data over and over. If a clip is used as a loop, and you edit that clip, then every copy of that clip that appears on the time line will get the same edits.

If you want to add MIDI data at only one place, then you have to work on a seperate track or 'flatten' the existing data into a single long clip.

This is how ACID works.
