Subject:SF 8.0 and 9.0 Both Installed

I have both 8.0 and 9.0 installed. Can I safely delete the 8.0 installation without harming the 9.0 installation? Thanks.

9.0 will function fine on it's own if you uninstall 8.0.

However, there have been some few occasional reports that uninstalling an older version makes some of the installed plugins go away too. If that happens, merely install 9.0 again after uninstalling 8.0.

Unless it's a drive space issue, there's no reason you need to uninstall SF-8, they can co-exist without issue. I keep SF-8 installed in case I want to use a feature that was dropped or changed in SF-9. (or later)
