If you don't like my replies to posts, then take your own advice and don't read them. Sonic Foundry forums have a preferences, where you can ignore a particular users post. Why are you wasting everyone's time by taking this on a personal level with me? Asshole!!! |

If it were personal I wouldn't have addressed it as Rednroll et al. Nor would I have used "the collective you and your". What an ego. |

I'ld help you out with that problem, but obviously I'ld just be doing it for boosting my ego according to vanblah. Maybe he can help you out, I'll keep quite to appease him. |

hey, either one of you can assist me, I am completely ambivalent. I do not profess to have any expertise in digital audio editing, not at all. I spent the last 21 years shooting and directing, always have had a designated editor and have not cut my own work since the mid 80s. So how about some advice???? If you ever want to know anything about Beta SP or SX or DVCAM or mini DV or lenses or lighting or microphones I can help you! peter |

Just to let you know, the question of removing vocals is so common on other sites that the regulars have developed a somewhat calloused attitude towards the posters as well. ALL websites who offer this kind of service should indeed post a statement that says that you can't do this and perhaps even why it can't be done except under certain circumstances. |

I never said that your advice and instructions were invalid, Rednroll. I only said that you seem to take pleasure in abusing others while at the same time giving this advice. The ego statement was directed toward the fact that you assumed that my previous post was aimed directly at you, rather than anyone in the forum with the aforementioned attitude. You also assume that I am male, but this forum is gender anonymous. |

Actually this information is on one of the S.F help sites. I started to look for the address but found that S.F. wants me to fill out a form again. Seems like as a registered user I would only have to this once. Maybe a S.F. rep will post a link. Dave M. |

If you would like assistance, you can contact me by email at REDNROLL@HOTMAIL.COM. I would not like to subject anyone to my over egotistical behavior, or share information with other users, that might be able to use this help. I suppose I could start doing like Sonic Foundry had to do and offer a charge for a 1 on 1 customer tech support. If my replies seem too egotistical, they are not meant to be.....but if your question is obviously from lack of opening a manual and doing a little research due to laziness, then you can expect a little baggering sarcasm in return. I spent many hours reading manuals, learning programs, and working in studios to get my knowledge. So VanBLOW, if this makes me egotistical then so be it....I've earned it!!! |

and you're right that this is a non-gender based forum, that's why I would be using the commonly used masculine pronouns when the sex of the person you are referring too is unknown. Now I have to be "politically correct" too?.....Sorry I'm not a politician, I'm an audio engineer. If you are male or female VanBlow, it does not matter to me. The fact is you're still an "Asshole" in either case. |

I started a thread which was not biased nor abusive to anyone. YOU, Rednroll, made it personal. No one has EARNED the right to abuse others. Do you think that using words and phrases like "asshole" and "blow me" make you seem older than your apparent 14 years? Don't spout grammar and politcal correctness rhetoric to me, you fucking redneck. I've enjoyed arguing with you. |

Hmmmm...you made a thread which has my username "rednroll" in the subject, and it is not personal against me? If that thread wasn't directed at me then what other "rednroll" is there in this forum? Don't worry, no offense taken, I now know of what level of intelligence I'm dealing with. Some people think "ignorance is bliss", I tend to be more of a "knowledge is power" kind of person. You've shown where you stand. I'm through with this thread now. Still Polictically incorrect, Brian "the redneck trailer trash inbreading rhetoric engineer" Franz |
