i found the comparison chart: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/musicstudio/compare on the chart "beatmapping..." & "timestretching..." are checked in both Acid Music Studio 8 and Acid Pro 7. Can someone tell me if this means that they look and operate the same or are there extensive differences between them like there seem to be between AMS7 and Acid Pro 7? if different, where can i see exactly how? also curious how different AMS 8 is fro AMS 7 in these 2 features. t h a n k y o u ! david thanks, david Message last edited on2/11/2011 6:27:59 PM bys k r o o t a y p. |

The best discussion would be to compare the documentation. Download the ACID Pro 7 manual. What was introduced in ACID Pro 7 is discussed. The biggest difference is that ACID Pro 7 and AMS 8 introduced multi-tempo beat mapping . The original beat mapping only permitted a single tempo for a beat mapped file. The new beat mapper tools permit you to beat map media with a varying tempo. Note that this is not automatic, but a manual endeavour. To achieve good results on media with constant changing tempo requires time and effort. Peter Message last edited on2/11/2011 7:16:25 PM bypwppch. |
