Subject:Cubase file not playing on Sound Forge

I installed Sound Forge on my system. I imported a wav file from Cubase 5.0 and it comes up in Sound Forge. Problem, it does not play on my system. The meters show stuff coming through them, but I hear nothing coming through my monitors.

I use a Gateway computer with a Tascam US 428 mixer. My files are recorded into Cubase 5.0.

Dubler,

The first thing I would do is right click on the little speaker in the taskbar and then left click on adjust audio properties and make sure the right sound card is indicated for audio out. May be too simple but this is what I would do first.
