Not sure why but I can't seem to burn a DAO CD from SF10. I've loaded an audio file, inserted markers, converted to regions etc. I've tried 2 CD's and both have missing or silent audio in different places.

The system works fine. CD Architect burns discs fine too.
If I import the audio into CDA and create tracks from media regions (following help file instructions) it leaves track 1 without a region so I have to edit the track list to get it to work. It also had the pause as 1hour 44 something!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong here but I just want to edit long audio files (take out gaps) and burn them with track markers. Preferably in one program.

make sure you are working with regions in the sound file... and not just markers. Also, make sure to check your regions list... see if you have overalpping regions... its best if they do not overalp. If the option to record DAO comes up under tools... it should work for you. (Note: I was using SF Home Studio 10c)

PS. I was not able to locate the "Auto regions tool"

If that is all you want to do, then surely CDA is the best choice anyway !?!
