I use a fairly new basic laptop (definetly not made for music processing) and a Sampson USB condensor mic. I am having latency issues and I can't even seem to solve them by manualy offsetting to line it up. I used to have acid pro 4.0 on a pentium III 500 megahertz processor with the same mic and never had any latency issues. Now I have new laptop with acid pro 7 and I have these problems..... Don't get it. Sombody told me I need a better soundcard to fix the problem. 1. What I need to do to completly abliterate these latency issues on an typical laptop? 2. How much do you think it will cost? Thanks...... I appreatiate all the help I can get!
