cropping zoomed clips

I'm a new vegas user (plat hd10) and getting what I think should be a simple task to work is driving me batty. I've zoomed a clip so that appears over another clip. There are some edges on that zoomed clip I want to hide, but I can't find a way to crop it as anything further that's done in the zoom/crop dialog box undoes my zoom settings.

I've searched the forums, help, etc and can't find anything that basically lets me put a window of X by Y @ A by B cropped to C x D. I think it was all in the same dialog box in Premiere.

Thanks for any input!

Crop the image using Pan/Crop.

Resize/position the image using Track Motion.

@ jetdv: you are a Vegas master and a pithy one at that. Thanks, thatworked like a charm!
@ sony: uh, shouldn't these "zoom/pan/crop" functions and be found in one "zoom/pan/crop" place? thx!
