Subject:Not enough temp space when have 33 gb free on temp drive

I am using SFXP 4.5h and attempting to do a pitch change on a 2,065mb WAV file. My temp directory is set to e:\temp and that drive has 33,348mb free (33GB).

Yet when I try to perform the Pitch Bend operation off the effects menu, it gets about 30% through the file and then stops, saying I don't have enough temp disk space. I am unchecking the "create undo" checkbox.

Using Win98SE and 256mb ram.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you might be hitting the 4gig size limit which is a limitation of Win98 FAT32. Another thing you might want to try when you open the Wave file is, Hit "Cntrl U" this will disable the Undo for the Temp file. It should read on the top of the wave file "undo disabled". Wow over a 2 gig Wave file, it must take you an hour just to open that file?

Good luck,
Brian Franz
