Subject:Inconsitent Midi Playback Levels On Acid Pro 7...

I recently recorded a midi drum track, and for some reason, when all of my velocity levels are set at the same level for my snare tracks, etc. whenever I play the track back, the levels are either barely audible or extremely loud throughout the track, but they are never consistent during playback either through Acid Pro or after rendering.
At this point, I have tried rendering tracks to a seperate track and then bringing them back to the original project, rendering tracks frozen and thawed, rendered while still in "realtime midi edit" mode, and even listening to the playback in its raw format in Acid Pro 7.
Any suggestions?? I am ready to completely redo the tracks from scratch in a non-midi format, but that's the easy way out.

Cheers, and thanks in advance for any help you can lend!!

What's the soft synth being used? Did you check its own volume settings?

I know, for example, that in KitCore (which is included with ACID Pro 7), each pad can be individually adjusted for volume.

I am indeed using the Kitcore... For instance, if I set all of my snare drums at 60 for their velocity, some sound like 30, others sound like 120...some even completely disappear entirely, almost as if they are set at 0. The weird thing is, bass drums and all cymbals amd rides all sound consistent. It only seems to be snare and rimshots. Very weird, and very frustrating.
Per your thoughts, I may have to do some more treaking to see what else happens. The thing that gets me is, the volume/velocity varies in both pre and post rendering playback.
