"Best" is a very subjective term.
There are a lot of plug-ins available for Vegas and which one(s) to buy depend on your requirements and your pocket book.

FWIW... not exactly FX, but....

My two absolute favourites are Ultimate S Pro from VASST and Plural Eyes from Cingular Software.

Thank you for responding to my question.
Well, maybe I should be asking what is your favorite editing plug-in :)
I need some editing tools, the ones included in Vegas isn't enough.
So I'm thankful for all the help/tip you can give.

I guess someone has to ask the question, "What do you want you editing plugins to do?" Image Stabilization, Color Correction, Audio FX's, Imaging Effects, etc, etc. I think you'll be surprised at wealth of built-in stuff that Vegas offers.

And some great free scripts/custom commands from Gilles (Rosebud). I'm using (and very grateful for) Proxy Stream, Goto, Show Event Length and Open in Graphic Editor.

I find I use new blues motion plug and Boris Continuum 95% of the time. Boris has so many plug ins in BCC 7 for Vegas, all your bases are covered and it is very rare I need to work outside the bcc toolbox.

OK, I've taken the plunge with Vegasaur, and also downloaded Gille's 'auto multicam' script. Always nagged that there's no keyboard shortcut to 'create multicam track'. (Someone please tell me I'm wrong :-) ) Can't get it to work though. I'm just selecting the tracks (ctrl/A) and clicking on the script. Just throws an error. Can someone enlighten me as to what I'm doing wrong?

Anyone know of tutorials/forums for Vegasaur? At my age I need a bit more hand holding than the help file offers. LOL.
