Subject:clipping and rush behind sound

hello, and excuse my bad english. i´ve got a problem: when i record some text with my microfon, there is every time a rush behind it. I checked all adjustments - they are right. can it be that it is situated to the microfon? or are there adjustments i don´t know? help me, please... |

It could be that your microphone doesn't match the microphone requirements of your sound card. The microphone pre-amp in your sound card might require a low impedance microphone but your microphone is high impedance. Or the other way around - high to low OR low to high. Some microphone types deliver a high output level and this might be too much for the microphone input on your sound card - try it on the line input. |
