ACID Music Studio does not offer this functionality.

ACID Pro supports software input monitoring.

The ACID product comparison page enumerates the difference between versions.

That's pretty retarded!! How do you use a music studio if you can't hear yourself being recorded.I guess I've wasted my money

You should be able to use your audio device to input monitor.

What type of audio device are you using?

Are you using wave or ASIO drivers?

It looks like your behrrenger rca 2in/out has a switch to route the input directly to the output so that you can monitor the input through the device directly.

This type of routing will not permit you to monitor any FX in realtime through ACID. Only those tracks that are routed directly through to the output that have FX on them can be monitored in this way.

That is, if you have an FX on a track that you are recording to, you will not be able to monitor the FX. That functionality is provided in ACID pro only.
