Subject:How to record metronome?

I'm trying to figure out how to record the metronome. I'm laying down a guitar bed track using the metronome to keep time. The purpose is to give the bed track (with metronome) to the drummer so he can go in the studio and record a live drum track to it but I don't see a way to record or save the click track (metronome) along with my guitar track

You cannot record the metronome.

You could easily drop in a single bar MIDI track with a wood block and then drag it out for the duration of your guitar track.
