Subject:Ripping CD's directly in Sound Forge?

I've heard that it's possible to rip CD's directly in Sound Forge... I have v4.5

I understand that the audio track will be converted to a .wav file on your hard drive.

Is this correct? If so, can anyone tell me how to go about it?

Sound Forge 4.5 cannot rip from a CD, but version 5.0 can do this.
