Hi. I got everything to record with my m-audio fast track pro and acid studio 8. I have some drum tracks I created and I have tried to play over them through my m-audio interface, but I get terrible latency. I adjusted the latency setting on the audio interface, and it seems that setting it aT 256 gets it a little better. I have acid 8 set at auto detect for latency. Can anyone help me. This is so annoying. I have spent my whole winter break fiddling with software and spending money and stil have the same problem: latency. |

I have the realtek hd sound card, came with this computer. I put in my computer spe3cs also. Here they are again (theyre also in my profile): hp, 6 core amd vision proccesor. 8 gb ram. Windows 7 I figure I should be ale to handle proccesing. Its not the newest model computer, but the proccesor still ranks real high in windows expereince. Help! Im so frustrated I decided to try the free trail of mixcraft from acoustica! But I would be happy just to lose this latency problem. Have you tried isolating the Fast Track Pro on its own USB controller? (Many, if not all, PCs nowadays have several USB controllers that contain several USB ports. These ports must share traffic if they're on the same controller.) I would try eliminating any devices that may be sharing the USB bus with the Fast Track to see if that clears up anything. Iacobus |
