Subject:Wrong Output Channels

Hi, I have SF 5 installed on a machine with a MOTU 2408 24 channel sound card. I have my monitors connected to channels 1&2. Windows Media player will playback file just fine.

Sound Forge always plays back on channels 3&4 so I cannot hear the output. There doesn't appear to be anything obvious I can do about it.

Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to manually select a playback(output)and record(input) by going to "Options" then "Preferences" and on the "Wave" tab, select which ones you want and then close and re-open the program.

Of course I can, but it doesn't provide a way to select which outputs on the 24 channel card to use. I can only select which of 3 banks of 8 to use.

Like I said before, the Window Media player will correctly map the wave player to outs 1&2, but SF5 maps to 3&4.
