Hello I accidently set Acid to scan C: for VST, instead of just identifying specific VST locations. End result: Acid crashes due to loading of all DLL's the scan finds. Is there a registry adjustment I can make that can resolve my issue? I removed and reinstalled Acid, the application is still scanning C: drive for DLL’s again. Thanks |

There is a command line switch: -NOVSTGROVEL (or /NOVSTGROVEL) So create a temp desktop icon by dragging acid70.exe to the desktop from your program files folder. Then edit the link "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\ACID Pro 7.0\acid70.exe -NOVSTGROVEL" or you can open a command prompt, move to the ACID install directory and type in Acid70.exe -NOVSTGROVEL Once ACID starts use the plugin manager view to correctly set you VST search path.
