Hi all, I have a song in which I need to delete about four measures. These are smack in the middle of the tune so I am avoiding dragging and re-drawing. Based on forum advice, I tried to use Ripple Edit after selecting the section to be cut with one of the selecting tools. All that happens with Ripple is that it shows up with a checkmark and the Cut and Delete functions become unavailable help! thanks Seb |

Hello, When using ripple, if you want to remove something in the middle of a song, click and drag through the time line to create a time selection, and select the loops in that time area that you want to delete, and at this point you should have a highlighted section between two yellow markers going from top to bottom of the song, then the loops you want to delete should also be selected in that time section, then right click on one of them and select delete from the shortcut menu, and make sure you have ripple edits enabled, then when the time selection is deleted the other loops should slide over and fill the gap.
