proDAD Adorage 12--now with 64-bit support!

Charlie Fulton wrote on 12/16/2010, 11:22 AM
Hi All,
We're proud to announce that proDAD Adorage 12 is now out. This is our first volume with our new engine that adds 64-bit support, so if you have previous Adorage effects installed, you can use the effects of the new volume (Travel theme, including major city skylines, landmarks, countours, and more--in full HD resolution) plus the effects from any previous version of Adorage on your shelf from your 64-bit timeline. So if Adorage was the only reason you were hanging onto your 32-bit Vegas install, now you can get rid of it and live large in 64-bit land. It's $79 through mid-January. Use coupon code CSUSCF at checkout and get an additional 25% off... or put the demo through its paces. I am your humble proDAD support contact serving the English-speaking world (with a little help from Google Translate when needed); hit me up at support@prodad.us and I'll help you figure out any of our products.

Yippie!!! Your products ROCK. Thank you very much. 64 bit is great plus for HD. I was one of those people hanging on to the 32 bit version for that exact reason, Awesome!

Will Heroglyph be getting the 64-bit uplift? That would be really appreciated!

As Adorage now has 64bit support, I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and Vegas Pro 10 64bit . The interface works correctly but in preview and rendering, I do only get black screens instead of the Adorage Transition. Has anyone already tried this ?

Does this mean the Vitascene will get a makeover too?

Same trouble here: only black video in Adorage transition. Win 7 64 + Vegas 10.0b 64.

Adorage 3.0.74

I don't know why, in ProDad site, are no new service files.

Having the exact same problems. I'm in contact with Adorage tech support but still waiting for a solution.

If anyone has solved this, please post.

Thanks

As I don't know if the original poster is still monitoring this thread, I wrote a mail to Prodad technical support to tell them that people are posting about problems here.

Has anyone succeeded in getting it working ?

Bye,
David Arendt

Hi all, we are planning new versions of VitaScene and Heroglyph in the near term that will both add 64-bit support. I haven't heard exact release dates yet, though.
As for the black screen problem, I believe there has recently been a new release of the 64-bit support part of Adorage. Re-run the download manager periodically to get the latest version. If there has been an update, you'll receive it and it will hopefully eliminate the problem. We've also seen this problem manifested as some random stripes and blotches of color that bear little resemblance to the original clip.
I'm at support@prodad.us. If you email customerservice@prodad.com, you'll get my German counterpart instead of me. So I'm not seeing some of the aforementioned messages.

Hi,

I have currently not the possibility to retry the 64bit version. Has anyone retried ?

Im confused....Is ProDad compatible with VP 10 ? The specs tab says it requires an installation of PInnacle Studio 11. Am I being obtuse ?

Davis, as you can read up, the version 3.0.74 don't work in Vegas 10c 64.
The Adorage transition only show black frames.

Erni, I don't know if you have noticed the last post where Mr Fulton told:

"As for the black screen problem, I believe there has recently been a new release of the 64-bit support part of Adorage. Re-run the download manager periodically to get the latest version. If there has been an update, you'll receive it and it will hopefully eliminate the problem."

As I currently have no 64-bit system to retest, I am just wondering if someone else did already retest.

dreamix, every day I re-run the downloader. No news :(

Cheers
