Subject:Acid Unstable w/ Pro Tools

After I add Pro Tools 8 to my set-up, I decided to use acidpro 7 as a rewire slave in pro tools as an experiment and acid pro has not functioned properly in host since. The meters do not work all the time and after a while it crashes! Has anyone else experienced similar problems or know of a remedy?
