Acid Pro 7.0e build 713...on Win XP SP2: CD projects render CDA files to the disc...(all project tracks are wav, 16/44.1) and I am unable to determine how to have them render as Wav (as required by most duplication/replication services) without using other software. I want to render from Acid in order to maintain the exact structure intended. Am i overlooking something or is it just not possible. Thanks for any help offered. Ed C, (Coot) |

Ummmm, are you delivering them an AudioCD ready to be played/duplicated? Or are you delivering them a set of files to have them lay out the AudioCD for you? It seems that mean the first, and if so then merely let ACID burn the disc. The data on the CD will be 16/44.1 PCM which is the same as .wav files, but they won't actually be files with .wav extensions. If you need individual .wav files then highlight each song one at a time, go to File / Render, and choose Microsoft (.wav) from the file type menu. This won't create an AudioCD. |

thank you for taking the time to reply Chienworks...it is indeed the former and I am aware of the info you stated...why they would need to look at the file types I`m not sure....I just decided to use a lightscribe disc & burn the disc info on the labed incl: wav.16/44.1....now they seem to think its fine.....I did provide the artist with a disc with just the wav. files just in case...my interest was in maintaining our choices about pauses between tracks etc....appreciate the reply....Thanks....Coot |
