Subject:Sound Forge Markers visible in ACID

I just upgraded to a new Win7 computer. Have been using Sound Forge 6 and Cool Edit Pro on my old XP computer since the Sonic Foundry days. I DO NOT record orinal music, but only edit and mix existing audio files. I am interested in using SF Pro 10 and perhaps ACID Music Studio as the multitrack module.
One of the features I used previously was that I could drop a marker into a file in SF and the marker was visible when I opened the file in CEP. This allowed me to "snap" the files at the intersecting point that I desired.
Is this feature avialable in Acid? So far I am unable to find where to make the markers visible when opened in Acid.
Can you give me any help.

This feature is available in Acid Pro 7. You can insert markers or use the keyboard command "m".

I do not want to create markers in Acid. I want to be able to see markers created in Sound Forge. Sorry if I wasn't clear before.

You will only see the markers when the file in question is ACIDized as a One-shot or Loop, not Beatmapped. Even then, it will isolated to the file only but you should be able to do things like select by region or between markers in the Chopper.

Not sure why the markers or regions don't show up when the file in question is Beatmapped. It might have something to do with ACID's paradigm when dealing with Beatmapped files.
