mpegs from HD Tivo slow down on BD

I have an HD Tivo, which records mpeg files straight off the cable. I can remux (but not recompress) these files and burn them to a BD with no menu via tsMuxer and they play fine, so it seems that the compression coming over the cable from Comast is high enough (low enough bitrate) that it can play on a BD.

But I want a more polished looking disc, so I'm trying to bring the video into DVDA 5.2 and give it a menu and chapters. I can save the video out as separate mpg video and ac3 audio files and then they load fine into DVDA, and I can build my menu and set up chapter points. But when I burn the disc, the video starts out playing fine, but gradually appears to get slower over time, eventually stuttering and getting out of sync.

Is there any way to bring these already compressed mpegs into DVDA and not have to recompress them to get them to play properly?

I wouldn't recommend using that raw video in DVD Architect, Cheese.

Put the video into Vegas first and then export from there as DVD or BluRay ready file and use THAT for your DVD Architect source file.

DVD Architect performs most efficiently with optimized source files, and non-traditional video sources can give you some strange results.

Let's find out the specs of those files first of all. Right-click one in DVDA's Explorer window and choose Properties. Copy and paste here what it tells you. Also tell us what file extension you're getting with those files.
