Subject:Input port as Recording source

When I 'record' in Sound Forge, the default input device is the
microphone built into my computer. I want to input from the
"input device" port - using a mini jack connected to my mini-disk
recorder.
How do I do this? John Goodfriend

Double click your volume control go to options>>Properties click on recording then select the input you want to record.
