Just wondering if anyone else gets locked up when doing the following in SF 10... With a stereo wave file loaded. Open Plug-in Chainer (I have the Mastering Rev, EQ, Multiband and Limiter loaded). Play the track via Chainer controls. Adjust a few parameters. Type in a new name (in Chain dialog box) while playback is running then hit save. This locks SF for me and Windows Task Manager shows Forge 100.exe using 99% cpu. The settings are saved in Plug-in Chainer This is repeatable for me. Thanks! |

I've just found out that changing the Chain preset during playback also causes the same lock-up. Can anyone confirm this? |

Yes, I can confirm problems like this with the Plug-In Chainer. I logged into the forum today just for that reason. I'm not seeing any solutions or work-arounds posted here though. I'd like to post a step by step that causes this to happen, but it's tricky because it seems to be intermittent. I'm going to keep trying to come up with one though. Can Sony Support comment in the meantime? |

I've had this happen on many occasions, but can never duplicate the exact sequence leading to the application freeze-up. |

Yeah, I noticed that if you wait long enough the software will "un-freeze" and respond again. I've also see long delays simply when pressing stop. It's a pretty annoying bug, especially if you do a lot of mastering like I do. I'm going to keep looking for a work-around, but also am thinking of trying to get an older version to run on my system. It would be nice to hear from Sony. Even if it's just to say yep, known bug, working on it... |

Looks like this still happens in 10.c Sony did send me a diagnostic tool to run, which I did and have sent the log back, so hopefully it will get fixed. |

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be putting on 10.c soon. Keep us posted. |
