Deleting or Inserting Measures -ACID Product Family

Subject:Deleting or Inserting Measures Posted by: Tombolino Date:8/6/2001 8:31:24 PM Hi all, I know that Acid 3 has a function where you can "Insert Time" anywhere in a song, meaning, you can add empty measures or time. Is it possible to DELETE time or measures in the same manner? I know I could just go in with the eraser and do it, but that would mean I would also have to select all and shift/move around all other events that come after if I want to keep a certain song structure. Also, in Acid 2, you can insert Measures, but in Acid 3 you can only insert Time?? I prefer working with measures. Is it possible in acid 3? many thanks Seb sebastianotero@yahoo.com

Choose the edit tool, create a time selection with the loop bar and turn ripple edit on. Hit delete and all the material choose slide over to fill the gap (except for markers, tempo markers and pitch markers, unfortunately).
