I recently upgraded to windows 7 64 bit and im having trouble configuring a micro korg and a motif rack. Im able to get a midi signal from both but cant get any audio. I have the line out from both of my devices going into the line in of my sound card. I also have the sound card properly configured to acid pro. is there a step Im missing. is external keyboards and tone generators a mid track or bus track etc? I cant figure this out |

On ACID Pro 7, you can set up a Input Bus for this. Create an Input Bus I the Mix Console. Select as it's input the hardware input that your external gear is connected to. Select then output of the Input Bus to the Master or any sub bus. Enable the MIDI hardware port in then MIDI Prefernce page. You could also search for a template or create one for your gear to allow ACID more control. Rout your MIDI tracks to the MIDI port you set up. Note the fader on the MIDI track uses MIDI mags for volume. The Input bus attenuates the incoming signal of your external device. Youi will have to use Real-time rendering to include the external device in the mix. Peter Message last edited on11/30/2010 12:15:08 AM bypwppch. |
