Subject:SF 5.0 still slow...

I upgraded to ver 5.0b (build 162) and the program is still slow editing and undoing, normalizing etc. I read in these forums that this was going to be fixed, is Sonic Foundry still working on it?

What do you consider slow what kind of machine do you have? How fast are your hardrives ect.

SF 5.x is slower at opening files than Cool EDit but faster at processing than Cool Edit.
