I've been trying to manually edit clicks in a file, but every time I do a Find command (Tools, Find) the cursor reverst to Edit. Is there a way to keep the cursor in Pencil? I've created a shortcut (Alt-P) to switch to Pencil, but it gets tiring after a while. I'm using Sound Forge 9.0c Thanks, Sergio Edit: This does not happen with Sound Forge 8. It is presumably because on the 'Find', the zoom resets to a setting where the Pencil is not allowed. Sorry - I guess that doesn't really solve your problem .... geoff |

Find does not change the zoom level. It should not change the tool either, but obviously does. Will check it out. J. Message last edited on1/4/2008 7:29:56 AM byForumAdmin. |

Noted and addressed. And, since I have been lurking for some time and it will undoubtedly come up: No, I'm still not at liberty to share dates or any other information regarding future releases. J. |

Thanks for the notice. What's annoying about this problem is that it is a recurring one. It gets fixed in one version and then it pops up again in another. Sergio Message last edited on9/16/2010 6:16:57 AM bysergiob. |

This bug has been around for longer that 2-1/2 years. When is it going to get permanently fixed? This is ridiculous! |
