Subject:Sound Forge with Dell (problem)

Hello,

I installed Sound Forge 5.0 on a new Dell 8100 computer with Windows 2000. Two strange things are hapening. First, when I click any of the Sond Forge buttons, a wissing sound comes from inside the computer. Also, when I set the monitor resolution to high resolution (1600x1000), the gray area inside a wav window displays strange patters, video like noise patters. Please help me with these problems.

Best Regards,
Talal Itani

Reduce your monitor's resolution. Set it to High Color 16-bit, 800x600 res. That is all you need for SF. If you are running games, it is not a good idea to have both games and run editing software on the same machine.

It sounds like this can probably be fixed by updating the drivers for your video card. Dell would have these updates at their site.
