Although DVDA supports multiple audio tracks, they are not sequential.

I would just render my audio in Vegas the way I want it first.

I used Soundforge to concatenate several tracks (seemed the path of least resistance).

Honestly, if it were me, I'd want to jazz this up a bit more than DVDA is capable of. I recommend creating the whole thing in Vegas so you have its library of transitions and FX to keep the viewer's attention. Then you can use all the music you want, and even match the audio to the visual a bit if applicable. Doesn't have to be anything gaudy, but a static slideshow of 300 pictures would put most people to sleep.

Barring that, yeah, use Vegas or something to join your separate music files into one.
