Subject:Left and Right tracks are not aligned

I've heard this is called "phasing" or "grouping" but have been unable to find the subject matter in Help. Does anyone know how to re-align the tracks?

Like you I could not find anything in 'help; the online tutorial or the manual from the CD.

I dicided to experiment.

To create this experiment I opened a helicopter stereo .wave file. Ran 'Auto trim/crop. I drug the 'R' track to a open blank area on the S.F. window. This created a single track new window. Did the same thing with the 'L' track this created a second single track new window. Then I opened a 'new' blank stereo window. inserted a one second silent zone at the start of this and dropped a marker.
Drug the 'R' track to the new stereo 'R' track to the marker, it aligned to the marker perfectly. Did same thing with the 'L' track it also aligned to the marker perfectly.

Using headphones I can not hear any misalignment at all.

Hopefully a S.F. tech. or a experenced user will tell us that there is better way. Anyway I know this works.
